Synthetic, Non-Suspension, Water-Based Lapping Vehicle
Prolap-16 ZP is a highly concentrated, very low viscosity water-soluble abrasive carrier vehicle designed for fast lapping of most ferrous and non-ferrous* metals, ceramics, glass, and plastics. Prolap-16 ZP is formulated as a non-suspension vehicle but has excellent abrasive carrying characteristics to promote uniform deposition on the lapping machine.
*For the lapping of reactive metals such as aluminum, Prolap W-2 should be used to minimize the potential for hazardous outgassing.

Application:
Prepare slurry by adding desired abrasive to PROLAP-16 ZP and mixing until homogenous. The slurry must be circulated or mixed during use to prevent settling of the abrasive.
