Semi-Synthetic, Water Soluble Coolant for the Lapping of Bearing Balls
FLOW-ON II is a semi-synthetic, water-soluble coolant used in conjunction with Abradelap abrasive paste compounds. It is in a concentrated form containing only traces of water and is used diluted at 15 to 1. This Flow-On II lapping system was developed as a second generation of water-soluble products for ball lapping.
Product Benefits / Features:
- High concentration
- Chemically stable, provides a long shelf life
- Excellent corrosion resistance built into the product
- Lapped balls are easier to clean
- Works well in hard or soft water

Application:
Flow-On II coolant should initially be diluted with water at a ratio of 15 to 1. Depending upon the performance characteristics, this ratio may be increased to 20 to 1. It is important to use the proper mixing method. Flow-On II must be added to water with good agitation. The diluted product is then flowed onto the balls as they enter the lapping plates and then re-circulated through the system. The product is suitable for both individual tanks and central systems.
Flow-On II is always used with Abradelap lapping compounds as the abrasive phase.
