PROCESS RESEARCH PRODUCTS (PRP) was established as a manufacturer of specialty chemicals in 1958 in Trenton, New Jersey.

The original ownership group still manages the business to this day. During this time, PRP has developed close long-term business relationships with customers worldwide in the semiconductor and automotive industry. Currently, PRP produces state-of-the-art chemicals for the electrification of transportation and for cell phone chips. PRP’s customer base reaches all four corners of the globe. 

PRP’s manufacturing expertise, together with our R&D capability, has enabled us to leverage our core competency of dispersing solids in liquids to provide custom-made formulations for many industries. Recently, PRP has developed successful high temperature mold release coatings for the glass industry and for military applications. The proximity of the PRP factory to the container port of New York is critically important to PRP’s ability to shorten the supply chain and maintain robust shipping schedules.
