Oil-Based Suspension Vehicle
PC is an abrasive carrier vehicle for use on lapping operations where excellent suspension characteristics combined with medium viscosity are required. PC mixed with diamond abrasive is especially suited for slurries used in the lapping of silicon nitride balls. PC’s excellent suspension characteristics help keep the diamond on the lapping plates leading to reduced lapping times.

Application:
PC is used as a carrier vehicle for up to 20% of abrasive. Typically, 320 or 400 silicon carbide as well as diamond and can be thinned with up to 25% mineral seal oil.
